Social Media
-I have decided to use Facebook as a way to keep my users informed of updates, posts and pages added as well as announcements. You will find the link at the bottom of the site, in the footer. Since Facebook is already one of the best social media outlets and free to use, ( I do love “free” ) I figure it’s wise to incorporate it into the website and use it’s features as a great way to communicate with my users and visitors. If you have a suggestion for ways to use Facebook for this site, please leave a comment and let me know. One of the key elements for Notions and Needs is to be user friendly. It’s not about me, it’s about the user of the site and what is best for them. I really want the site to accommodate the user’s needs, I’m just supplying the notions. I hope in time the users will be contributors as well, I just need to hear from you to make this happen.
I will be adding other social media outlets as I build the site. Just do not wish to bite off more than I can chew right now and I’ve never used twitter before, so I’m holding off. I have created my twitter account for the site, I just have not done anything with it as of yet. I haven’t even logged in or tweeted a thing since I created the account. My plate has been rather full. I got the account when I acquired the domain name, knowing I’d most likely be needing it somewhere along the way. It’s coming, just need a little more time to implement it and use it the best way possible. Suggestions would be great and appreciated.
