Are Kroger Flowers Any Good

My Review About Kroger Floral Dept.

-Buying flowers at a grocery store can be scary. Your giving these flowers to someone you care about and the last thing you want, is to give flowers that end up being a disappointment. I do corporate audio visual now and then for a great AV company that’s located in Brighton, Michigan, but go all over the US for their clients. AV Squared is an audio visual company that works. I’ll review them one day as well, but back to my Kroger floral review. Just wanted to let you know how I would feel entitled to review Kroger’s, Michigan Division, flower department.

Beautiful big rose opening up, was as big as my hand

Kroger Floral is not a grocery store just selling flowers, they are a Floral Shop. Their guidelines exceed that of many nurseries that call themselves flower shops. I have heard what they had to say and how they expect their employees to handle their greenery. I was very impressed. I won’t hesitate buying flowers at Kroger, in fact it’s my flower shop of choice, here in Michigan, anyway. I only know what the Michigan division said and I only know the quality of their supplier.

After the event was over, Kroger did not take the flowers from the two day event, back to sell in their stores. Donations were taken for charity, for picks of bouquets and bunches and what was left over was to be thrown out. Well there was quite a bit left and I couldn’t see these beautiful flowers going to waste, so I took them home with me. I was in heaven! My home smelled wonderful and I began to think of what to do with them all.

Flowers from Kroger

So Much Fun

I gave them away to elderly people I knew in my community and everyone else I could think of. I was even able to give some to my sister, daughters, mother and cousin up north. These flowers lasted a very long time. Nearly every rose opened, all the lilies opened up for me and best of all, the orchid I put in my bathroom, under the skylight, actually Kroger Orchid 2016bloomed for me this year. I didn’t hear any complaints about the cut flowers I gave away, so figure they had the same results.

My daughter’s school drama department had their spring musical right at this same time, so I made up a beautiful bouquet for my daughter, to give to the lady that she really liked and had helped her out often. She was thrilled and actually cried when she was presented with the lovely gesture of gratitude, by my daughter. I never have money to spend on things such as flowers, so it was a real treat to have the bunches to work with and put in vases I went and purchased from the dollar store.

Not A Waste

I can’t count the times I use to say “that’s okay, we can’t afford something that’s just going to die in a week or two anyway, we shouldn’t waste our money on things like that”. My husband use to try to explain, that he was going to get me flowers for one reason or another, but didn’t, for one reason or another and that was my reply, most of the time. Well, flowers are not a waste of money. They say something more than “here, have some pretty flowers”, Someone thought of you and just wanted to give you something to let them know this. Be it one or 10 dozen, the message is still the same. I shouldn’t have ever told my husband, they are a waste of money and he should have never listened to me. Perhaps things would have ended up differently, but I doubt it.

Give Someone You Love Some Flowers From Kroger

If you are ever unhappy with your flowers from Kroger, just let them know and they will make it right for you. All Kroger stores in the US have this policy, so go out and get someone you care about some flowers from Kroger, for absolutely no real reason, other than what they stand for, “your thinking of them”. I love Kroger Floral, they really are a top notch flower shop.
