Personal Blog Entry

January 30, 2016

It hasn’t been as productive of a week as I would have liked it to have been, but it will do. I got a couple listings up on eBay. Finally created a listing with variations for the Beta-Orb. I have been considering changing the name of it, it was my second choice and still don’t care for it. It’s really no longer in Beta…so to speak. I wanted to call it Orb-It, but some other product carries that name. A stupid little vacuum for your keyboard or something like that. I was thinking, Orb-It-All. After all, it’s not just for fish. It can be used for a lot more than that. I think I’ll order some flower frogs and give the buyers an option to purchase one of those with enough gravel to cover the frog, then you can fill it with water and cover the top with plastic wrap and a rubber band before placing the cap on. I’ll have to test it a few times.

I had a couple more listings ready to publish, but they needed photos. The site I use to self host my photos for my eBay listings was down for maintenance, so I couldn’t upload them after I resized them. I can try again tomorrow.

I’ve been pretty depressed about everything lately. I think it may just be a January thing and being deprived of sun light. I seem to be talking myself out of every idea I come up with, before even given any of them a chance. A month ago they were good ideas and put my mind at ease. Now that I will soon be able to put a few in place, I keep telling myself I can’t take the risk and that I need to figure out something else. I’m right, sort of, I really can not afford to take any risks. In the same breath, I can not afford not to take the risk. I’m quite broke right now, so I’m certain it is playing a big part in my way of thinking. I don’t need to make much to make ends meet and be able to do for my kids as I’d like to. Both really need driver’s training. My oldest daughter didn’t take driver’s training and she still has no license because she has never been able to drive, afford a car or take the test to get it. I don’t mind, I let her drive my mini van a few times and I was a nervous wreck the entire time. I’m sure she was as well, so I hope that was all that was to it. You just can not ever run a stop sign and she missed two of them. Good thing it was a country road.

Not feeling the best, so going to go to bed and see what tomorrow will bring.
